Charlie Crist Disses the Royal Family

He may fantasize about being President some day, but Charlie Crist still has no clue about proper etiquette. Despite the fact that taxpayers blew nearly half a million dollars on his European junket last year, the Governor appears to have learned nothing. At a dinner in Pensacola with the King and Queen of Spain, Charlie Crist asked for people to move around so his wife could be seated next to him, as opposed to remaining in assigned seat, across the table from him. As if the royal guests were not shocked enough by his lack of proper social graces, the Governor left the dinner before the royal family, leaving an empty seat next to the Queen.

Nothing comes in the way of the daily tanning bed ritual. Not even the King and Queen of Spain.

Charlie as King

    From the article… LOL

“Food was prepared by top Spanish chefs, while chef Mario Batali emceed the event.

Apparently, Batali outdid the Governor in the protocol stakes. Wearing his customary orange crocs, Batali proceeded to regale the royal couple with colorful language in his analysis of Spanish food and wine. Refering to one restaurant that failed to meet his standards, he said he couldn’t understand how it was awarded “four f—— stars!”
